Sports Coordinator(Seasonal)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sports Coordinator to assist in the delivery of full day sports specific camps (as set out in the standardized portfolio brands) within the Canlan environment.

Accountabilities

  • Work with Program Manager and Head Instructor to executive summer sports camps and clinics.
  • Supervise and mentor part-time staff.
  • Assist in administrative tasks involving purchasing supplies, taking registrations, and staff training prior to the beginning of summer camp.
  • Execute daily camp responsibilities including but limited to, monitoring safety procedures, supervising sign-out, and creating daily camp logs.
  • Assist the program staff in preparing and delivering off-ice activities for campers.

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Past camp counselor/teaching experience preferred.
  • Graduated from a university/college or active enrolment in a Sports/Leisure Administration or Sport Management Program a strong asset.
