Concession Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for a dynamic Concession Supervisor who will be responsible for the areas of concession/kitchen operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, handling procedures, food quality & presentation and meeting local health regulations, while also maintaining concession/kitchen cleanliness and organization.

Rate of Pay: $15.50 - $16.50/ hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide positive customer service through the day-to-day operation of the concession.
  • Food & Beverage preparation, point of sale and delivery to the expectations, guidelines and policies of the organization.
  • Department safety
  • Active participant in concession staff hiring
  • Training and development of new & existing teammates
  • Provides coaching & discipline to teammates, as necessary
  • Maintains and exceeds Health, Safety and Sanitation standards as prescribe by the codes / legislation governing the operation.
  • Maintains proper inventory levels and controls
  • Maintaining and supplying of accurate information in regard to weekly & monthly cost reporting.
  • Assists Facility management with budget forecasting and projections
  • Facilitates staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
  • Maximizes sales via menu specials, banquets, birthday parties, and other events.
  • Works with Facility Management team on special projects and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of the Squirrel Point of Sale System (where appropriate).
  • Candidate must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the concession/kitchen supervisory or management field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Where required, Provincial or State recognized safe food handling certification.
